The festive season sale has come to end, however, GoAir and Jet Airways continue to offer discounts on airfares.

Aviation major Jet Airways announced the extension of its ongoing Diwali offer sale up to November 11, allowing flyers to save up to 30 percent for the economy and premiere fares across its network and of its partners’ - Air France and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines.

Jet Airways said the flyers can book one-way flights for as low as Rs 6,723 to fly to Muscat from Mumbai and Rs 1,998 for the Mumbai to Kochi route.

"The sale will be available across all booking channels of the airline till midnight on Sunday, November 11," Jet Airways said in the statement.

The customers who are directly booking tickets via www.jetairways.com or the airline’s mobile application can enjoy a range of exclusive benefits.

Those travelling internationally from India can also shop in the air, availing a flat 20 percent off on JetBoutique – Jet Airways' in-flight Duty-Free shopping service.

GoAir is offering fares of starting Rs 1,313 to celebrate its 13th anniversary in the aviation sector. The airline also gave discounted fares during the festive season sale time.

Every festive season, airlines offer such discounts to tap the high demand and incentivise their business.

“We have received an overwhelming response to the ongoing sale and in order to enable even more consumers to experience the joy of flying this Diwali, we have decided to extend the celebratory offer through the entire week," said Raj Sivakumar, senior vice-president – worldwide sales & distribution, Jet Airways.
