04:13 PM EDT, 07/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- JetBlue ( JBLU ) said Wednesday it will be adding more flights and new routes this winter to and from Boston's Logan International Airport and nearby regional facility in Manchester, New Hampshire, the air carrier.
The airline claimed to fly about 30% more mainline seats, more flights from New England to California, Florida and the Caribbean and the new initiative is expected to increase JetBlue's ( JBLU ) overall capacity in the region by another 20%.
The expansion starts Sept. 5, it said, with a new daily route between Boston and Presque Isle, Maine, with additional flights to three destinations in Florida and San Juan, Puerto Rico, beginning in late October. The company will add daily seasonal flights from Manchester to either Fort Lauderdale or Fort Myers in Florida in late January next year.
