09:23 AM EDT, 06/19/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Leading Edge Materials ( LEMIF ) on Wednesday said it has identified "extensive" mineralization at its Bihor Sud Project in Romania.

Ten chip samples of 1-2 kg each were collected from an 80 m long mineralized sector during a reconnaissance visit, the company said. The zinc-equivalent average grade for the ten samples is 7.34%.

Leading Edge is planning a 1,500 m drill program from July to September. The company anticipates it will undertake 6,000m of drilling by the end of the year.
