04:58 PM EST, 01/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Lightwave Logic ( LWLG ) said late Thursday it executed a memorandum of understanding with Colorado-based foundry QPICs to accelerate the use of electro-optic polymers to commercialize photonic quantum circuits.

The collaboration will enable QPICs to develop Process Design Kits by leveraging Lightwave's polymer platform, speeding up photonic integrated circuit production timelines for quantum computing clients, according to a statement.

The availability of the PDK will enable clients to design custom services based on silicon circuits without requiring extensive PIC manufacturing modifications, the company said.
