Jul 8, 2024 4:20 AM

06:50 AM EDT, 07/08/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Lithium Ionic ( LTHCF ) over the weekend said it has initiated drilling at four properties surrounding the Bandeira lithium project and expanded its drilling program at the Salinas area properties in Brazil.

The initial drilling program at the Itinga area properties around the Bandeira project will aim to test lithium soil anomalies identified by previous systematic mapping and soil geochemistry exploration programs.

Four drill rigs are operating, one on each of the four targeted properties, namely Afrodite, Phoenix, Apollo and Goncalves.

Lithium Ionic ( LTHCF ) has also initiated an expanded drill program at the Salinas lithium project within the Aracuai pegmatite district. The program is expected to nearly double the amount of drilling completed at Salinas to date and will expand and upgrade the current mineral resource estimate. Two drill rigs are currently operating at the property.
