LVMH CFO says Chinese consumer confidence back to Covid lows

PARIS, Oct 15 (Reuters) - Consumer confidence in

mainland China is back to the lows seen during the COVID

pandemic, Jean-Jacques Guiony, chief financial officer at top

luxury group LVMH, said on Tuesday.

Speaking after the company reported worse-than-expected

third quarter sales, he also said the company would not

necessarily change its strategy drastically or offer more

affordable products to address the situation.
