Madison Metals Granted Nuclear Fuels Licence For Khan Uranium Project in Namibia

01:31 PM EDT, 08/12/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Madison Metals ( MMTLF ) on Monday said Namibia granted the company permission for nuclear fuels extraction at its Mining Licence 86A area in the southern African country following the recent discovery of high-grade uranium deposits at its Khan Project.

"I wish to extend my sincere gratitude to the Government of Namibia for supporting mining projects for the benefit of their citizens in a calculated and sustainable manner that provides further confidence to foreign investors," chief executive Duane Parnham said in a release.

Madison Metals ( MMTLF ) is an upstream mining and exploration company focused on uranium production with over 50 years of mining experience, including 22 years in Namibia.
