04:57 AM EDT, 09/27/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Amazon.com ( AMZN ) has surpassed its target of securing $1.8 billion in ad-spending commitments on its video-streaming services for next year, The Information reported Thursday, citing a person familiar with the matter.

The figure covers ads on Prime Video and the company's live sports telecasts such as the National Football League's Thursday games, according to the report.

Amazon ( AMZN ) did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
