01:41 PM EDT, 07/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Apple ( AAPL ) is preparing to launch as early as this year the first upgrade to its Vision Pro headset that will include a faster M4 processor and components suitable for running artificial intelligence, Bloomberg reported Wednesday, citing people with knowledge of the matter.

Changes will include a new strap designed to alleviate neck strain and head pain reported by some users of the relatively heavy device, according to the report.

The company is working on a redesign for the 2027 model that will reduce the weight of the headset, the people reportedly said.

Apple ( AAPL ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
