11:51 AM EDT, 06/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Apple ( AAPL ) has informed at least one supplier of the suspension of work on its next-generation Vision Pro headset, The Information reported Tuesday, citing an employee at a Vision Pro components manufacturer.

The company is looking to release a cheaper Vision product with fewer features before the end of 2025, the report said, citing a person involved in its supply chain and a person involved in making the headsets.

Apple ( AAPL ) may resume work on a high-end Vision product in the future, the report said.
