04:45 PM EDT, 03/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- LATAM Airlines Group ( LTM ) is exploring the prospect of ending its codeshare deal with Voepass as early as H2, Reuters reported Wednesday, citing two people familiar with the matter.
Brazil's aviation regulator suspended Voepass operations earlier this week over safety concerns following a deadly crash several months ago, the report said.
Talks to terminate the partnership have been underway for months with a possible timeframe from July to October for ending the contract, Reuters said.
LATAM expressed concerns about safety issues at Voepass and the reputational risks associated with the arrangement, Reuters reported.
Voepass may seek bankruptcy protection soon, Reuters said.
