02:27 PM EDT, 06/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Lazard ( LAZ ) appointed Adam Taetle as head of its global consumer, retail and leisure business, Bloomberg reported Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

Taetle was a senior managing director at Evercore ( EVR ) , and will join Lazard ( LAZ ) after a standard period of leave, Bloomberg added.

Mike Long, another managing director at Evercore ( EVR ), is also joining Lazard ( LAZ ), according to the report.

Neither Lazard ( LAZ ) nor Evercore ( EVR ) immediately responded to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
