03:29 PM EDT, 04/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Microsoft ( MSFT ) is set to introduce a new software that can handle multiple tasks with little guidance from users and powered by OpenAI's technology, The Information reported Thursday.
The software, which would improve upon Microsoft's ( MSFT ) current suite of Copilots, can assist users in creating, sending and tracking a client invoice based on their order history, among other features, the report said, citing unidentified Microsoft ( MSFT ) employees. The software can also rewrite an application's code using a different language, the report said.
Artificial-intelligence providers such as Microsoft ( MSFT ), OpenAI and Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) Google ( GOOG ) are looking to introduce new technologies that can automate multiple actions to encourage businesses to spend on AI, the report said.
Microsoft ( MSFT ), Google ( GOOG ) and OpenAI did not immediately reply to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
