Stock market expert SP Tulsian of 'Sptulsian.com' on Friday said he maintains an extremely positive view on the cement sector.

On India Cement, Tulsian said, "Huge buying is going to be seen in the cement stocks going forward. In fact, there is no point in taking a call on the Q4 numbers as Q1 numbers will be really excellent. Heidelberg Cement is probably the only mid-sized cement company that has consistently performed very well even in bad times. Similar is the case with India Cement. The company is seen to be the largest beneficiary as the southern pocket has seen the maximum price increase. So, India Cement is going to enjoy the advantage of that price hike or margin expansion."

On the infrastructure space, he said, "I think this is the right theme to play on. But you need to be very careful while choosing the stock and we always look for two things while choosing or while playing on this sector. One is the execution capability and secondly, it should not be a debt-ridden company."

"If I want to play safe, then probably I will pick up Larsen and Toubro (L&T), J Kumar Infraprojects, JMC Projects and NCC. However, if you want to play big, then Dilip Buildcon maybe below Rs 600 looks quite good," he added.

Talking on the automobile sector, Tulsian said, "Either you go for the evergreen stock like Maruti Suzuki or you go with Mahindra and Mahindra (M&M), where you have comfort on the commercial and passenger vehicles as well as the consolidated results which captures the benefits of Tech Mahindra and M&M Finance. So, my preference will be on Maruti Suzuki and M&M. Third stock if I wish to add anything other than two-wheelers, it would be Escorts. I will refrain from taking a call on Tata Motors even at the current levels."
