07:30 AM EST, 11/14/2025 (MT Newswires) -- MDA Space ( MDALF ) on Friday reported a fall in net income in the third quarter even as revenue rose year-over-year and beat analysts' expectations.
For the three months, ended Sept. 30, net income was $24.4 million compared with $29.5 million, a year earlier. Adjusted diluted earnings per share for the quarter increased to $0.35 compared with $0.28, a year-ago, and beat a consensus estimate compiled by FactSet of $0.33 EPS.
Revenues rose to $409.8 million in Q3 compared with $282.4 million, a year-ago, driven by higher volumes of work in its Satellite Systems and Robotics & Space Operations businesses, beating a consensus estimate compiled by FactSet of $405.2 million.
"Q3 financial results marked another solid quarter for MDA Space ( MDALF ) with double-digit revenue growth and robust profitability as we continue to execute and convert our backlog," said MDA Space ( MDALF ) Chief Executive Mike Greenley.
The company reaffirmed its previously announced fiscal 2025 outlook and continues to expect full year revenues to be between $1.57 billion - $1.63 billion, full year adjusted EBITDA to be $305 million - $320 million and capital expenditures to be $210 million - $240 million.
"We continue to expect full year free cash flow to be neutral to positive in 2025," said the company in a statement.
Shares of the company closed down 4.9% to $21.43 on Thursday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
