MEXICO CITY, Jan 28 (Reuters) - Mexican low-cost
retailer and lender Coppel plans to spend 14.2 billion pesos
($688.8 million) in 2025 on store remodels and openings, a
digital overhaul and on renewable energy initiatives, it said on
Tuesday.
Coppel will open 100 new stores and remodel more than 60
current locations this year, creating some 6,800 new jobs,
Coppel said in a statement. According to the firm, Coppel is one
of Mexico's top 10 employers.
