MGM Resorts International's BetMGM Launches Mobile Sports Betting in Washington DC

02:48 PM EDT, 07/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- MGM Resorts International's ( MGM ) sports betting and gaming entertainment affiliate BetMGM launched its mobile sports betting operations on Wednesday across Washington DC.

Sport fans all over the district now have access to BetMGM sports wagering, according to the company.

BetMGM said the launch came after DC Council approved its fiscal year 2025 budget including a provision to open the sports betting market. It will retain exclusivity for the two-block radius surrounding Nationals Park where it operates the BetMGM Sportsbook.
