01:43 PM EDT, 09/25/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Microsoft ( MSFT ) said Thursday it has disabled "a set of services" to an Israeli Ministry of Defense unit after an ongoing review found evidence that supports elements of an article from The Guardian about alleged "mass surveillance of civilians in Gaza and the West Bank."
The disabled subscriptions and services include the use of specific cloud storage and artificial intelligence services and technologies, the tech giant said in a blog post.
"We do not provide technology to facilitate mass surveillance of civilians," the company said.
