08:03 AM EDT, 07/16/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Nevada King Gold ( NKGFF ) reported Wednesday the results from its phase 2 metallurgical testing program at the Atlanta Gold project in Nevada.

Phase 2 results confirmed phase 1 work while delivering a more simplified flowsheet, with potential for lower operating and initial capital costs, the company said, adding that the results also showed gold and silver mineralization is well suited to conventional oxide processing methods widely used in Nevada,

"The Phase 2 testing provided additional clarity on the metallurgical characteristics of a wider variety of rock type subunits included in the resource area and is another step in de-risking the Atlanta gold mine project," said Gary Simmons, the former director of metallurgy and technology at Newmont ( NEM ) who supervised the phase 2 testing.
