08:47 AM EDT, 05/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- NextDecade ( NEXT ) said Thursday it had executed a 20-year agreement with JERA to supply 2 million tonnes of LNG per year on a free on-board basis from Train 5 at its Rio Grande LNG project.

The company said the deal, priced based on Henry Hub rates, will begin once a final investment decision is made, which depends on securing commercial deals, a construction contract, and financing for Train 5 and its related infrastructure.
