06:47 AM EDT, 10/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Nokia ( NOK ) said Friday that former Finnish ambassador to the US Mikko Hautala has been appointed chief geopolitical and government relations officer, effective Nov. 1, and Louise Fisk has been promoted to chief communications officer, effective immediately.

Both have also been named to the group leadership team.

Nokia Technologies President Jenni Lukander and Chief Corporate Affairs Officer Melissa Schoeb are resigning, effective Dec. 31, the company said.

Patrik Hammaren, chief licensing officer of wireless technologies, will serve in an interim role leading Nokia Technologies and join the leadership team as a search for a new president commences.
