06:32 AM EDT, 07/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Nvidia ( NVDA ) has shipped only a limited number of H200 artificial intelligence chips to China and Hong Kong despite the issuance of US export licenses, Under Secretary of Commerce for Industry and Security Jeffrey Kessler told a congressional hearing on Tuesday.

"The bottom line is very few shipments against licenses for H200s and equivalents have taken place. It's a very small quantity of chips," Kesller said.

Nvidia ( NVDA ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
