04:47 AM EST, 12/31/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Nxu (NXU) on Monday filed a registration statement for the proposed resale from time to time by selling shareholders of up to 114.5 million shares of class A common stock.

The company said in its preliminary prospectus that it does not expect to receive any proceeds from the potential sale.

Nxu shares were up 53% in premarket activity Tuesday after closing more than 516% higher in regular trading on Monday.
