06:22 AM EDT, 04/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- OpGen ( OPGN ) said Tuesday it received a notice from the Nasdaq Stock Market that it was out of compliance with a rule requiring it to file its annual report with the US Securities and Exchange Commission for the fiscal year ended Dec. 31 by April 1.
The company already informed the SEC it was unable to file by the deadline without unreasonable effort or expense. The company said it is "working diligently" to finish and file its annual report.
The company said that it is also out of compliance with a Nasdaq rule requiring it to maintain a minimum bid price of $1 per share for 30 consecutive business days and has until June 3 to regain compliance.
