09:26 AM EST, 02/05/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Plug Power ( PLUG ) said Wednesday that it has launched a spot pricing program for liquid green hydrogen and has signed spot pricing agreements with a number of customers.

The developer of fuel cell systems said the spot pricing program allows buyers to purchase liquid green hydrogen from Plug's production plants without the need for long-term take-or-pay deals.

Plug Power ( PLUG ) did not name the initial customers under the program.

Shares were 1% higher ahead of Wednesday's opening bell.
