07:22 AM EDT, 03/19/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Probe Gold Inc. ( PROBF ) , which rose 3.3% yesterday, on Tuesday highlighted the final set of results from the 2023 Courvan Gold Trend drill program on its Novador property located near Val-d'Or, Quebec.
Results from 47 drill holes, totaling 12,200 meters, have returned significant gold intercepts from surface to 150 meters vertical depth at the Bussiere and Creek deposits, the company said.
Among the highlights, the company said it discovered a new, near-surface, Gold Zone 400 meters East of the Bussiere Mine Zone. The company reported significant new gold intersections grading up to 6.2 grams per ton of gold over 13 meters (cut), including 68 grams per ton of gold over 1 meter; 4.1 grams per ton of gold over 6 meters; and 1.1 grams per ton of gold over 29 meters.
The company said Near-surface expansion drilling on the Creek Deposit intersected parallel gold zones grading up 6.2 grams per ton of gold over 9.1 meters (cut), including 162 grams per ton of gold over 1 meter; and 18.4 grams per ton of gold over 3 meters (cut), including 66.4 grams per ton of gold over 1 meter.
Near-surface expansion drilling at Bussiere Deposit intersected thick gold zones grading up to 1 gram per ton of gold over 61 meters.
An additional 10 holes totaling 2,300 meters have been drilled on the new discovery area during the ongoing 2024 Winter drilling program, the company said. The results are pending.
