10:33 AM EDT, 04/01/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Qualcomm ( QCOM ) confirmed Tuesday in an information note to the London Stock Exchange it is considering making a possible offer for acquisition of UK-based Alphawave IP Group.

There's no assurance that any firm offer will be made, Qualcomm ( QCOM ) said, nor of the terms on which any offer might be made.

According to the information note, Qualcomm ( QCOM ) understands it now has until 5 pm London time April 29 to make an offer for Alphawave or announce it doesn't intend to make an offer for Alphawave.

Neither Alphawave nor Qualcomm ( QCOM ) responded immediately to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
