RCI Hospitality Q3 Nightclub, Restaurant Sales Fall 1.1% YoY

10:05 AM EDT, 07/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- RCI Hospitality Holdings ( RICK ) reported Thursday that its Q3 combined nightclub and Bombshells restaurant sales were $75.5 million, down 1.1% from a year earlier.

Nightclub sales in the quarter were $62.4 million, up 0.7% from a year earlier, while Bombshells sales fell 8.9% to $13.1 million. Sales in the nightclubs and Bombshells restaurants rose 5.9% and 2.7%, respectively, from Q2, the company said.

The board also has approved an increase to the amount available under its share buyback plan by $25 million, the company said.

Meanwhile, RCI said its applications to operate casinos were withdrawn from the Colorado Division of Gaming and plans to open Rick's Cabaret & Steakhouse in Central City, Colorado, without gambling.

Shares of the company jumped past 10% in recent trading.
