08:27 AM EDT, 03/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Redhill Biopharma ( RDHL ) said Monday that the US Patent and Trademark Office has issued a new patent for Talicia as an all-in-one therapy for Helicobacter pylori infection.

The new patent is expected to provide intellectual property protection until Feb. 12, 2034 to Talicia, a combination of amoxicillin, omeprazole and rifabutin, according to the company.

The company's shares were up 2% in premarket activity.
