Schrodinger Gets Gates Grant to Expand Tools for Predictive Toxicology

10:42 AM EDT, 07/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Schrodinger (SDGR) said Friday it plans expand its computational platform for early toxicology risk prediction in drug discovery.

The initiative is funded by a $10 million grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the company said.

The project, which aims to reduce development failures and improve drug safety, will use Nvidia's ( NVDA ) artificial intelligence technology and the platform will be available to Gates Foundation grantees and Schrodinger's customers.

Shares of Schrodinger rose 0.5% in recent trading Friday.
