05:09 PM EDT, 06/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- SmartStop Self Storage REIT ( SMA ) said late Tuesday it has acquired five premium self-storage properties in the Houston metro area.

The facilities comprised over 420,000 square feet of rentable space and around 3,800 storage units, with features like climate control and recreational vehicle storage, the company said.

Financial details were not disclosed.
