08:56 AM EDT, 09/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Solaris Resources ( SLSR ) said Thursday that it signed an agreement with the Pueblo Shuar Arutam organization to cooperate on the development of the Warintza project in Ecuador.

The group comprises nearly 10,000 people organized into 47 Shuar centers. The agreement follows a letter of intent signed by both parties in February.

"With this signing, we have now established formal relationships with all Indigenous organisations surrounding Warintza, in addition to our ongoing collaboration with local authorities," president and chief executive officer Matthew Rowlinson said.

"These agreements generate strong momentum for the continued advancement of the project and reinforce our long-term commitment to inclusive, community-led development," Rowlinson added.

Solaris said it continues to advance a pre-feasibility study on Warintza, with completion expected in the second half.
