Stardust Power, KMX Technologies Begin Exclusive Negotiations for Lithium Brine Technology
Oct 10, 2024 11:40 PM

08:44 AM EDT, 10/08/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Stardust Power ( SDST ) and KMX Technologies said Tuesday that they have entered a 90-day exclusivity period to negotiate the terms for Stardust's exclusive use of KMX's lithium brine concentration technology.

The companies said the deal is contingent on the negotiation of definitive agreements and mutual board approvals.

The technology could help Stardust reduce operating costs and capital expenditures throughout its supply chain, including the battery-grade lithium refinery currently under development in Muskogee, Oklahoma, the companies said.

A finalized agreement could grant Stardust exclusive rights to lithium technology in the US, Canada, and other selected jurisdictions globally, the companies said.
