05:52 PM EDT, 10/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- SunLink Health Systems ( SSY ) said Thursday its Southern Health Corporation of Houston unit and an affiliate sold the Trace Regional Hospital building and related real estate in Houston, Mississippi, for about $2 million.

The net proceeds of $1.93 million will be used for working capital and general corporate purposes, the company said.

SunLink expects to recognize a $91,000 pretax loss on the sale in fiscal Q2 ending Dec. 31.
