DUBLIN, Oct 29 (Reuters) - The head of the world's
largest aircraft leasing company, AerCap ( AER ), said the
supply of widebody jets is "extraordinarily acute" with Boeing ( BA )
and Airbus unlikely to surpass their previous
production peak this decade.
"Both OEMs (original equipment manufacturers) produced more
widebody aircraft in 2008 than they did last year and I do not
expect them to surpass the peak of 2016 this decade... The
widebody market is extraordinarily acute," AerCap ( AER ) CEO Aengus
Kelly told an analyst call on Wednesday.
