10:13 AM EDT, 09/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Tamboran Resources ( TBN ) said Tuesday its Beetaloo joint venture received approval from the Northern Territory Government in Australia to sell appraisal gas from the Shenandoah South Pilot Project in the Beetaloo Basin.

With all necessary approvals in place, Tamboran said the joint venture plans gas sales of up to 40 TJ per day to the Northern Territory Government under a binding gas sales agreement, beginning mid-2026.

The company said the Beetaloo joint venture is the first to receive approval under the Beneficial Use of Gas legislation and following Native Title Holders consent allowing the sale of up to 60 TJ per day from the Shenandoah South Pilot Project over a three-year period, the company said.

Shares of Tamboran Resources ( TBN ) were up more than 5% in recent trading Tuesday.
