TC Energy to Sell British Columbia LNG Pipeline Project to Nisga'a Nation, Western LNG

05:09 AM EDT, 03/15/2024 (MT Newswires) -- TC Energy ( TRP ) said Thursday it has agreed to sell its Prince Rupert Gas Transmissions Holdings subsidiary to Nisga'a Nation and Western LNG.

Terms for the sale of the British Columbia natural gas pipeline project were not disclosed.

The transaction is expected to close in Q2. Preliminary proceeds from the sale are not expected to be material to TC Energy ( TRP ), with the potential to receive additional payments dependent upon the project achieving commercial operation.

TC Energy ( TRP ) has also committed to provide paid support services for the transition period and for development work planned for this year.
