Teck Resources' Sale of Canada Coal Business to Glencore Approved by EU Regulators

07:33 AM EDT, 04/04/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Teck Resources' ( TECK ) sale of its Canadian coal business to Glencore has been approved by the European Commission, the regulator said Thursday.

The commission said it concluded that the sale "would not raise competition concerns, given the companies' limited combined market position."

Teck shares were up more than 1% in Thursday's premarket activity.

Price: 48.45, Change: +0.59, Percent Change: +1.23
