06:52 AM EDT, 10/06/2025 (MT Newswires) -- TotalEnergies (TTE) and Veolia said Monday they signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate on energy transition and the circular economy, to lower their greenhouse gas emissions and water footprint.
TotalEnergies will provide its services in the measurement and reduction of methane emissions and the production and supply of low-carbon energies, while Veolia will offer services in water resource management and resource recovery from new waste streams.
Veolia is studying using TotalEnergies' AUSEA technology to conduct measurement campaigns at its landfills.
TotalEnergies will support Veolia in accelerating low-carbon energy offering deployment at desalination plants built or operated by Veolia, the companies said.
