09:24 AM EDT, 10/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Valaris ( VAL ) said Monday it was awarded a five-well contract from BP (BP) subsidiary BP Exploration Delta for its drillship VALARIS DS-12 in Egypt.

The contract is expected to start in Q2 2026 and run for about 350 days, Valaris ( VAL ) said.

The company said the estimated value is $140 million, including a mobilization fee, and the agreement includes options for three additional wells.

Shares of Valaris ( VAL ) were up nearly 4% in recent Monday premarket activity.
