Vietnam's Sun PhuQuoc airways signs $22.5 billion deal for 40 Dreamliner jets

HANOI, Feb 19 (Reuters) - Vietnam's ​Sun PhuQuoc Airways ‌has ⁠signed a $22.5 billion ⁠deal ‌with ‌Boeing to buy ​40 ‌787-9 Dreamliner jets, it ​said ​on ‌Thursday.

The new aircraft would ⁠allow the ⁠firm to operate intercontinental ⁠services, ‌including flights ‌between ⁠the U.S. and Vietnam, in the future, it ​said in a statement.
