Walmart Reportedly Expands 10% Employee Discount to Most Grocery Items

03:17 PM EDT, 08/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Walmart ( WMT ) is expanding its 10% employee discount to include almost all grocery items, multiple media outlets reported Wednesday, citing a company letter to staff.

The discount, which now covers milk, meat, seafood, and dry groceries, is available in stores and online, starting immediately, according to the media outlets.

Previously, the discount applied only to fresh produce and general merchandise such as clothing, the reports added.

The company said the expanded benefit will now be available year-round.

Walmart ( WMT ) did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
