Massive fire at BeauMonde Towers in Mumbai

A fire broke out in a multi-storey building in Mumbai which houses a flat of Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone. No casualties have been reported so far.

The Mumbai Fire Brigade has classified the fire at BeauMonde Towers in Worli's Prabhadevi as a level-two fire.

Reports say that the fire broke out on the 33rd floor of the building and the top two floors are badly affected.

The Mumbai Police have said its staff and firefighting personnel are at the spot.

"They are trying to do their best and douse the fire," the Mumbai Police said on Twitter.

Ten fire engines, five jumbo tankers, two hydraulics platform and an ambulance are at the spot.
