12:35 PM EDT, 09/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CFRA, an independent research provider, has provided MT Newswires with the following research alert. Analysts at CFRA have summarized their opinion as follows:
We lower our 12-month target by $3 to $45, based on a 2027 P/E of 21.4x, a justified discount to FIZZ's five-year mean forward P/E of 26.3x. We maintain our adjusted EPS estimates of $2.05 for FY 26 and $2.10 for FY 27. After an in-line quarter, we are maintaining our Hold opinion on FIZZ shares. In our view, the primary challenge facing the company is growing its top line in a difficult environment for beverage companies as consumers increasingly push back on price increases (FIZZ's case volume was down 3.9% while its average sales price was up 4.4%), although its margin performance has been much better than expected considering the tepid demand environment. In our view, the company continues to struggle with growing its top line, as new LaCroix flavors and sales channels have been met with mixed results. With a valuation that appears fair and a lack of identifiable catalysts, we remain at Hold, maintaining a preference for larger-cap soft drink names that we think will benefit from the weaker U.S. dollar.
