Mahurat Trading: Ramesh Damani of BSE maintains positive view on select NBFCs
Nov 7, 2018 9:43 AM

In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Ramesh Damani, member, BSE, shared his expectations from Samvat 2075 on the occasion of Muhurat trading.

Damani said, "I remain optimistic, I think what happened in the last few months was a correction, a break in the bull market rather than an ending of the bull market. So, I remain optimistic about the year ahead."

The fall has been very serious and has had quite an impact on everyone's portfolio but the market is now shrugging off bad news, Damani said.

On PSU banking space and NBFCs, Damani said, "I am not a great votary of the public sector banks because there are still some issues about these companies though I would nibble at them."

On NBFCs I think some of them will continue to do well. I own a little bit of it just as a disclosure. Bajaj Finance would tend to do very well over time."
