09:02 AM EDT, 06/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Energy stocks were declining pre-bell Tuesday as the Energy Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLE) was slightly down recently.
The United States Oil Fund (USO) was up 0.5% and the United States Natural Gas Fund (UNG) was 1.3% lower.
Front-month US West Texas Intermediate crude oil was up 1% at $63.15 per barrel at the New York Mercantile Exchange. Global benchmark North Sea Brent crude oil gained 0.9% to $65.18 per barrel, and natural gas futures were 1.1% lower at $3.65 per 1 million British Thermal Units.
Pembina Pipeline ( PBA ) shares were more than 2% lower after the company said it agreed to issue $200 million of 5.95% fixed-to-fixed rate subordinated notes due June 6, 2055.
