01:29 PM EST, 11/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Energy stocks were lower Monday afternoon, with the NYSE Energy Sector Index easing 0.3% and the Energy Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLE) shedding 0.4%.
The Philadelphia Oil Service Sector Index was rising 0.3%, and the Dow Jones US Utilities Index was adding 0.8%.
Front-month West Texas Intermediate crude oil was rising 0.9% to $58.59 a barrel, and the global benchmark Brent crude contract was advancing 0.9% to $63.14 a barrel. Henry Hub natural gas futures fell 1.4% to $4.52 per 1 million BTU.
In corporate news, TotalEnergies (TTE) is planning a sale of up to a 6% stake in India-based renewable energy company Adani Green Energy, The Economic Times reported. TotalEnergies shares were down 0.3%.
