The iShares Biotechnology ETF (IBB) declined 0.5%.
In corporate news, Johnson & Johnson ( JNJ ) said an experimental treatment combining Tecvayli and Darzalex Faspro showed "meaningful" efficacy in some multiple myeloma patients. The shares rose 1.3%.
Amgen's ( AMGN ) Uplizna has received a positive opinion from the European Medicines Agency's human medicines committee recommending its approval for adults with active immunoglobulin G4-related disease, a rare autoimmune disorder with no authorized treatments in the EU. Amgen ( AMGN ) shares rose past 3%.
InterCure ( INCR ) shares were down 2.4% after the firm said it has agreed to buy medical cannabis technology company, Botanico, in a two-phase deal valued at about 10% of InterCure's ( INCR ) outstanding shares on a fully-diluted basis.
ARS Pharmaceuticals ( SPRY ) shares fell 1.4%. The company said its nasal spray, neffy, has received regulatory approval in Japan for the emergency treatment of allergic reactions in adults and children.
