Sector Update: Tech Stocks Edge Higher Premarket Tuesday

09:11 AM EDT, 05/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Technology stocks edged higher premarket Tuesday with the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) up 0.4% and the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF ( XSD ) recently advancing by 0.7%.

Silicon Laboratories ( SLAB ) shares were up more than 3% after the company reported a narrower fiscal Q1 loss that still missed expectations amid higher revenue.

Perion Network ( PERI ) shares rose past 7% after the company said it acquired artificial intelligence advertising company Greenbids for $27.5 million in cash to support its advertising technology platform.

CyberArk Software ( CYBR ) shares declined by more than 2% even after the company reported higher Q1 non-GAAP net income and revenue and raised its 2025 outlook.
