Oracle (ORCL) rose nearly 8% after it reported an increase in fiscal Q4 sales and unveiled partnerships with Microsoft ( MSFT ) and Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) Google ( GOOG ).
Vertex (VERX) was up more than 1.6% after saying it acquired tax-specific artificial intelligence capabilities from tax services and software firm Ryan for an undisclosed sum.
Take-Two Interactive Software ( TTWO ) was over 1% lower after it launched an underwritten public secondary offering of about 2.8 million shares of its outstanding common stock held by Embracer Group AB.
